ABC NH/VT was honored to host a celebration on June 2 recognizing the accomplishments of graduates and participants from the chapter's education and Safety Awards programs. ABC has studied how to improve construction jobsite safety through STEP since 1989. Participating ABC member firms measure their safety processes and policies on key components and criteria for best practices through a detailed questionnaire, with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce jobsite incident rates.
The ABC NH/VT inaugural Safety Symposium, presented by Milwaukee Tools, will be held Thursday, February 10. The Safety Symposium will bring together industry professionals and members to discuss the many safety programs ABC NH/VT has to offer its members and other ways to improve safety culture.

The EIC awards program is the construction industry’s leading competition that honors general and specialty contractors for world-class, safe and innovative construction projects.
The annual Safety Awards recognize commendable safety performance of individual firms. The awards are intended to convey ABC’s strong support of safety performance in full recognition of the fact that each firm has the responsibility for execution of safety, to ensure an overall safe workplace.
