Our members engage with local, state, and federal officials to champion the values of the merit shop. It is through the ABC that construction industry professionals have a strong voice for the merit shop and are taken seriously in legislative and executive chambers. 

National & State Politics

ABC National is one of the most influential business advocacy groups in the capitol. Its core purpose is to defend free enterprise in the construction industry.

Political Action Committee (PAC)

Through involvement with the ABC NH/VT Chapter Political Action Committee, or PAC, members can shape public policy and defend the system of American free enterprise.

The committee meets regularly when the state legislatures of NH and VT are in session and as needed throughout the year. As part of responsibility of the committee, involved members help to educate state and local leaders so they make informed decisions on the complexity of the issues affecting the construction industry. 

The committee also has a part in interviewing candidates that seek endorsement for state political office.
