Burlington, VT (June 20) – Associated Builders & Contractors NH/VT Chapter (ABC) and ReSOURCE conducted a graduation ceremony, June 20, for three apprentices graduating from the inaugural class of the association’s new carpentry apprentice program.

Founded in 2007, the Future Leaders in Construction (FLiC) program is a leadership development initiative designed for both emerging leaders and established professionals who are committed to making a significant impact in their work and personal lives. Whether you are working in the field or in the office, FLiC offers a unique and enriching experience by bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds and experiences, fostering a rich environment for learning and growth.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the Associated Builders & Contractors NH/VT (ABC NH/VT) is proud to announce the launch of "Breaking the Stigma", a series of workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness and well-being within the construction industry.

The Associated Builders and Contractors NH/VT Chapter, in partnership with the OSHA Training Institute Education Center, hosted a Trench Safety Summit in Concord, NH to address these risks and provide resources to help keep workers safe.

ABC NH/VT was honored to host a celebration on June 2 recognizing the accomplishments of graduates and participants from the chapter's education and Safety Awards programs. "It’s great to see so many of our members invest in their workforce and be committed to creating a safety culture of excellence," said Joshua Reap, ABC NH/VT president.

Associated Builders and Contractors member contractors invested $1.6 billion to provide more than 1.3 million course attendees with craft, leadership and safety education in 2021.

The Associated Builders and Contractors of NH/VT, in partnership with law firm Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson has expanded their Basic Construction Law program to allow greater flexibility for interested individuals.

Associated Builders and Contractors New Hampshire/Vermont Chapter (ABC), a leader in the construction industry and workforce development, has announced the promotion of Jennifer Landon to Vice President of Education & Workforce Development. Landon has been with the ABC since 2017, previously holding the position of Director of Education and Workforce Development.
