Our Registered Carpentry Apprenticeship will help to address a critical workforce shortage by connecting employers with individuals interested in learning a trade.

Apprentices will receive 6,000 hours (3 years) of on-the-job training from an employer registered with the program and 455 hours of related instruction through Manchester Community College. 


Employers

Key Information 

  • ABC NH/VT and NH Homebuilders Association are the sponsors of record for the apprenticeship program. 
  • All training and related instruction is fully developed using ABC National Guidelines for Apprenticeship and the National Center for Construction Education & Research curriculum. 
  • Business can enter an agreement with ABC NH/VT & NHHBA, under their sponsorship, by signing a one-page agreement. 
  • Apprentices are full employees of your company. 
  • You provide the mentor, on-the-job training, and support for the apprentice.

Apprentice

Related Instruction Provider: Manchester Community College, NH 


Credentials Earned: You will earn an OSHA 10-Hour Card for construction, complete modules of the nationally recognized NCCER curriculum, and a Nationally Recognized Industry Credential from the U.S. Department of Labor when the program is complete.
