Located at the Pease Tradeport in Newington, NH, the Air Guard performs three unique missions training and preparing the citizen-airman to respond to the Governor of New Hampshire for state emergencies or the call of the President in times of crisis.
Citizen Airmen who serve in the 157 Civil Engineer Squadron join the nation's most respected Civil Engineer Squadron serving America. The squadron’s mission is to build, repair, maintain, and protect first rate facilities while equipping and training a versatile and dynamic workforce to provide fire protection, emergency services, maintenance, and construction services in support of homeland defense and wartime tasking for the Air National Guard. Meeting federal, state and community needs in collaboration with family and employers; with an overall goal to ensure they have leadership commitment that instills trust, teamwork and continuous improvement in all they do.
In the Air Guard, you'll learn leadership skills that today's employers value. You'll also have the opportunity to gain technical experience in one of more than 200 different career fields.
