October is Careers in Construction Month, and this year, ABC National wants to recognize the people who make up our diverse workforce. We know everyone has a unique story that brought them to a career in construction, and we want to share them!  

We are looking for ABC NH/VT members who would like to share their stories as part of ABC's social media campaign. All that is required is your name, a few sentences from you about your journey to the construction industry, your employer’s name, job title and a professional headshot or action shot on a construction jobsite.

If you're not sure where to begin, below are some questions to consider as you think about your journey:

• What interested you about the construction industry?
• How did you get involved with the construction industry?
• What types of educational programs made you want to pursue a career in construction? 
• What’s something about the construction industry most people don’t know about that you find interesting or exciting?
• What advice do you have for people who are considering a career in construction?
• How did construction help you become the person you are today? How did it positively impact your life?
• What made you want to teach construction? (good for instructor)
