Clearly, especially when competition is as aggressive as it is now and there are no margins for errors, effective management and leadership skills are important at all levels.
The NH/VT Chapter is scheduling several leadership educational opportunities for this fall. Details and registration information on all ABC programs will be on our website by late August. Programs will include CREW LEADER SEMINARS, SUPERVISORCERTIFICATE COURSES and, PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT programs, including the popular FUTURE LEADERS IN CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM (FLiC). The FLiC program is 8 sessions, the second Tuesday of each month, beginning on October 12th. It is an interactive exchange to develop results orientated leadership for the emerging leaders of ABC member firms. It includes lecture, class discussion, reading assignments from top leadership and management publications and class review of assignments. Space is limited. ABC is also finalizing details for our series of MANAGEMENT SEMINARS. Topics will include prevailing wage compliance, environmental permitting regulations, labor law compliance and more.
